General information

Who can go?

The trips are open to first and second degree students (who know a foreign language to the extent that the internship can be carried out) (minimum level B2).

“Fresh graduates” – the condition is to join the recruitment in the final year of study. The period of completion of the internship must be within 12 months from the date of defense.

First-year students can also benefit from the trip.

Erasmus + internship trips last from 2 to 12 months.

Each student can use the “mobility capital” for a trip abroad in each “study cycle” of 12 months (study + internship).

The internship cannot be carried out during the period of dean’s leave, maternity leave.

How to apply for the scholarship?

All you need to do is submit an application form and wait to be informed of the interview date and results from the Department of Foreign Relations.
The company, institution, organization where the student or graduate would like to do an internship should indicate personally.
For graduate internships – the need to submit a certificate of student status with the application form. After the defense, a copy of the diploma or certificate of graduation should be provided.

Where can I do my internship and for how long?

In companies registered in countries that participate in the Erasmus Plus program. However, it cannot take place in EU institutions, institutions managing EU programs and Polish diplomatic missions.

You have been qualified. What’s next?

Delivery and completion of documents:

  • Letter of Intent – original signed by an authorized person from the host institution.
  • Learning Agreement for Traineeships – an agreement on the implementation of the internship concluded between three parties student / graduate, UITM Education – sending institution, and the host institution.
    The Department of International Cooperation provides assistance in preparing application documents!

If you have found an internship place – go to the dean’s office to check the internship program in your field of study.

Internships can be compulsory or optional, but it’s always a good idea to get information about their credit.

Pre-departure formalities

Before you leave, remember about insurance – it is the participant’s responsibility to have insurance for the entire period of stay abroad.

  • European Health Insurance Card from the National Health Fund
  • Additional insurance for accident insurance and third party liability
  • (The certificate to the NFZ for the issuance of the EHIC card is obtained from the Department of Foreign Relations).
  • Signing a financial agreement.
  • Completion of a language test (the participant is required to complete an online language proficiency test).
  • Payment of the scholarship.

Plan your travel arrangements well in advance and read up on the culture and customs of the country you are going to. If the host company doesn’t guarantee accommodation, it’s worth asking them what options there are for students, and you can always ask the Foreign Relations Department of the E. V.

Formalities and documents upon return from practice

  • Certificate of completed practice – in accordance with the signed agreement
    The document is part of the Learning Agreement for Traineeships.

It should contain information: Name, surname of the participant, date of commencement and completion of the internship, name of the company, competencies gained and appraisal of the intern.

  • Report – online questionnaire – to be completed within 30 days of the end of mobility
  • Completion of a language test (the participant is required to complete an online language proficiency test).
  • Financial settlement of the trip – in accordance with the signed agreement.
